I used to think that the US was the melting pot of the world. However,
after being in Munich, I have changed my mind. I'm pretty sure we saw
every nationality there is and yes, I know there are many but I
promise you, Munich, Germany attracts each and every one. Very
interesting to see.
Another interesting thing that I noticed while in Munich was that
everyone looks at your shoes! At first I didn't think much of it but
as time went on I was starting to wonder if something was wrong with
my shoes. One day a man came up to us and asked if we spoke English.
After we confirmed that we did, he informed us that our shoes gave it
away. I had to laugh as my suspicions of having my shoes studied was
indeed true. I guess it's a way for Europeans to see where you come
from. New Balance walking shoes are a sign that you are from America I
suppose. Haha.
Also, as a sidenote, the weather in Munich was very pleasant. It
wasn't as hot as I expected and at times the clouds would come and go
but the overall temperature remained warm, even when it rained.
